Today, I got the type of phone call I dread ( I get this type of call once or twice a year) and I need help ASAP or 2 innocent cats may die.
A person who adopted 2 kittens from us 2 years ago called and told me she was ?suddenly? forced to move from her home the other day and had to leave her 2 adopted cats behind outside. The adopter is now living in a hotel and does not want her cats back even after she finds a new apartment.
We always take our cats back, but we need some time to work them into our foster system (we do not have a shelter to bring them to). We just do not have any available space in the foster system now, as it has been a particularly brutal kitten season and the fosters are more than full.
These cats are now living outside and probably have no idea what happened to them or how they will survive the sudden change in circumstances.
